Channtal Fleischfresser is a multimedia journalist based in New York City. She has a Master's from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, where she specialized in online media. She has reported for NYC24.com, a multimedia news website, WNBC.com, where she was a multimedia intern, and her blog, Junction Blvd, covering current events in Queens, N.Y.

She graduated with a B.A. in History from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004. A native of São Paulo, Brazil, she has called many places home, including Boston, Massachusetts, Scarsdale, New York, Bologna, Italy, and Durango, Colorado.

Her travels and studies have brought her native fluency in English and Portuguese, fluency in Italian and French, conversational Spanish and a working knowledge of German.
